This summer I am cycling Alberta roads to change the future of MS.
I have always loved biking, from the small push bike when I was 2 to the adult sized bike I have now. I have always wanted to go on the MS. bike tour, (with my Mom and Dad, of course, my Mom, Nicole Heinz is actully doiung it this year too, on the PCL construction team too) because the sound of biking for 2 days was unimaginable. Now I am 10, and I can finally do the bike tour.
But then I looked up what multiple sclerosis was, to find out what I was trying to raise money for, and I found out that it is when your neurons don't work porperly. That sounded horrible. So please hlep me and all the others on this journey to the help those with multiple sclerosis.
Over 90,000 Canadians live with MS and the need for information, resources and support programs for them is as urgent and critical as ever. That’s why I am asking for your support in my fundraising.
While Canada has one of the highest rates of MS globally, we are also home to some of the worlds top MS researchers, whose work is at risk of not continuing due to the economic crisis. My fundraising for MS Bike will help support their groundbreaking work into treatments and ultimately a cure.
With every kilometre I cycle and every dollar you give, we will move that much closer to a world free of MS.
Thank you, sincerely, Alex Heinz.
