Why we’re gearing up
Team Addison is a collection of family and friends, and friends of friends, of Mike Addison, who crossed the finish line November 6, 2018, after wrestling with MS for more than 25 years.
When his family members found out about the event in 2004, we wanted to do something to show our support for him, so Team Addison just seemed natural. Mike epitomized the courage and determination that MS victims need to keep them going, and it helps keep us going on the road. He's no longer with us in person, but he will always be there in spirit and his memory keeps us motivated to do the best we can for the thousands of MS sufferers who still need all the help they can get.
Join us in the fight to end MS
Become a member of our team and spend the wekend with friends and family knowing that you are helping to create a more hopeful future for the 100,000 Canadians living with MS.
If you aren't able to participate, pledge our team today to help us reach our goal. When you make a donation, your funds are invested into groundbreaking MS research and valuable services for families affected by MS.
Follow our virtual progress
Over nearly two decades we've enjoyed one another's company on the road and off as we ride to demonstrate our commitment to the MS fight. This year we can't get together in that way, but we're creating a virtual tour that represents the total distance logged by our team, starting from June 1. Check it out here; we'll update the route at least once per week.
As of July 13, team members have cycled 3960 kms (that I know about) since June 1.
