Why we’re cycling to end MS
We're fortunate to continue to ride together.
Every other year or so for a decade, we've done a significant charity ride. We now ride annually, and we continue to support this cause. You might wonder why we choose to support MS when cancer has impacted our immediate family so heavily - two survivors in this family of four, and Mom lost her battle with lung cancer late last year.
MS is difficult to diagnose, and difficult to treat. The funds from this event make a direct and real impact on research and care for Canadians with MS. We have family, friends, and associates, who struggle with MS.
Join our team if you would like - we're decent cyclists and good guys. We could share virtual rides, ride safely at a distance, perhaps even get a pint on a patio at a safe distance. MS Bike is getting creative during this time of continued physical distancing.
Canada has one of the highest rates of MS in the world. Every day three more Canadians are diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, an unpredictable illness that affects vision, balance, memory and mobility. We don’t know what causes MS and there is no cure.
Your support means Canadian families who are affected by this disease do not have to face MS alone.
Join us in the fight to end MS
Become a member of our team, put some kms under your butt, knowing that you are helping to end Canada’s disease.
If you aren't able to participate, donate to our team today to help us reach our goal. When you make a donation, your funds are invested into research to find the cause and cure for the disease, while providing services to Canadians with multiple sclerosis and their families.
