Hive Fit Co Rock and Row

Canada has the highest rate of MS in the world. It’s true. 100,000 Canadians are living with MS.
Each year thousands of riders take part in the MS Bike Tour from Leduc to Camrose to raise funds and awareness for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Canada has the highest rate of multiple sclerosis around the world, with an estimated 1 in 340 Canadians living with the disease. MS is an unpredictable disease and can cause symptoms of extreme fatigue, lack of coordination, weakness, tingling, impaired sensation, vision problems, bladder problems, cognitive impairment and mood changes. Its effects can be physical, mental, emotional and financial. Currently there is no cure, but with your help we can help researches learn more about what causes it and zero in on ways to prevent it!

Hive Fit Co is a boutique fitness studio in the heart of YEG that offers Cycle, Yoga and Row classes all under one roof on Jasper Ave. We are supportive, passionate and determined to help Edmontonians achieve their fitness goals while creating a sense of community. Hive Fit Co is a dynamic business always looking for new opportunities to support local charities and we need your help! On April 27th, 2019, in partnership with the MS Society Northern Alberta Division, we will be hosting our annual Row-A-Thon in support of the MS Society. The event will take place at Hive Fit Co where teams of 1-6 will be responsible for rowing a total of 4 hours working towards our goal of $15,000. There will approximately 100 attendees at a day filled with fun, prizes, music, and of course, Rowing!

Please join us in this challenge to help the MS Society fund research, advocate for change, and help people with MS and their families. Proceeds from my campaign and others like it provide support and services to help those living with this disease, their families and caregivers. They also fund research with three primary goals: to find a cause and cure for MS, repair nervous system damage caused by MS and stop MS attacks. By supporting me, you too can make a difference in the life of someone with multiple sclerosis.

I am doing whatever it takes in the fight to end MS. Will you join me?
