Our captain Victor Maris has been cycling for MS for 7 years now, and has recruited the family to join him. This is the second year we will be riding around Sylvan Lake (~60 km) on Saturday, August 24 to raise money for the MS Society.
Canada has the highest rate of MS in the world. 100 000 Canadians live with MS. The symptoms of MS are many and vary for everyone, from mobility issues to impaired vision to memory loss.
We're helping the MS Society fund research, advocate for change, and help people with MS and their families. The research funded has three primary goals: to find a cause and cure for MS, repair nervous system damage caused by MS and stop MS attacks. By supporting us, you too can make a difference in the life of someone with multiple sclerosis.
