Can you imagine...
Having multiple sclerosis means that one morning you may not be able to walk when you wake up. Or that you may suddenly have impaired vision. Or that your memory will fail you for no apparent reason. The symptoms of MS are many and vary for everyone. It's estimated that approximately 55,000-75,000 men and women in Canada have the disease, and every day about three more people are diagnosed.
Why am I running?
I have decided to team up with my family member Jonathan Esposito on the 4 fantastique team to run the 20km Ultra-Trail because I am inspired by the cause. Throughout the 19 years of my life, I have been fortunate enough to have good health but have never considered how much of a blessing it truly is. Training and eventually running in the mountains of LaMalbaie is an opportunity for me to utilize my good health to help others who are suffering from MS. Running the 20km trail is a small sacrifice for me, but one which I hope others may be inspired and find worthy enough to make a donation to the MS Society.
I would like to say thank you in advance to everyone who shows their support and makes a donation for this great cause.
