This has certainly not been a typical year for any of us. I know that these are challenging times for all of us. This is the 2nd walk that will be physically distanced without the usual fantastic group walk that has become so near and dear to me. What I do know, is that no matter what is happening, people need help and if we can all do just a little bit, then as a group, we can make a huge difference.
I know that many of you are in a difficult financial position, but I am counting on the generosity of my fantastic network to help me reach my goal. Anything that you could spare is greatly appreciated. You may or may not know that I do this walk for my sister Rita, who inspires me every day to do all that I can to help put an end to this disease which affects so many Canadians.
I have been truly blessed in the past with the generosity of people like yourself, so I appreciate anything that you can donate to this cause.
We can end MS!
Thank you for your time,
Why I’m walking to end MS
Canada has the highest rate of MS in the world. Every day three more Canadians are diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, an unpredictable illness that affects vision, balance, memory and mobility. We don’t know what causes MS and there is no cure.
Your support means Canadian families who are affected by this disease do not have to face MS alone.
When you donate to my fundraising efforts for the MS Walk, your funds are invested into research to find the cause and cure for the disease, while providing services to Canadians with multiple sclerosis and their families.
Thank you in advance for joining the fight to end MS.
