“You know that lamp that flickers and drives you crazy? Well that’s what I feel like all the time — like everything is short circuiting. [I] have to concentrate on walking without falling. Some days the pain is unbearable. [I’m] always exhausted even after a full night of sleep.” — LuAnn Ault Hawk
That's a fellow MSer describing what it is like to have Multiple Sclerosis, and I couldn't agree more with this quote. But every case of MS varies greatly from one person to another and the exact cause of MS is still unknown.
I was diagnosed 11 years ago this coming June and have experienced paralysis, blindness, seizures and much more! I've participated in The 5km MS Walk since 2012. It truly is amazing to feel all the love, support and hope from my teammates and donors that day. It all follows me home and helps me get through another year!
I also have an individual goal of raising $1,000.00 and was wondering if you'd consider supporting me this year? When you make a donation, your funds are invested into research to find the cause and cure for the disease, while providing services to Canadians with Multiple Sclerosis and their families.
You can donate online by credit card or pay pal, or in person by cash or cheque. Official tax receipts will be automatically issued for pledges of $20 and over. Donors who donate online will automatically be emailed a tax receipt.
I am part of the MS Walk because I believe we will end multiple sclerosis - with your help we can get there. Please give generously.
