Why I’m lacing up
I was diagnosed with Primary Progressive MS in November 2013, I have not let MS stop me as I continue on my journey. Some days are tough but I keep pushing forward. I have been on a new drug called Ocrevus for the past 2 years which is the first drug approved by Health Canada for Primary Progressive MS. My recent MRI has shown no new lesions in a year so the drug seems to be working. Your donations has allowed me to take this new drug, thank you.
Every day 3 more Canadians are diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, an unpredictable illness that affects vision, balance, memory and mobility. We don’t know what causes MS and there is no cure, but I’m walking to help change lives beginning right where I live.
Your support means families in our community who are impacted by this often devastating disease do not have to face MS alone.
