I am doing this walk as part of my niece's group. She was diagnosed with MS at the end of 2020. Watching her persevere through pain, exhaustion, mobility issues, etc has been painful and inspiring. She has managed to get great grades at her first year at college and has a great summer job working with the homeless in our community. And she is my best friend and one of my biggest supporters. All I want for her is the best. My daughter, Ciara, is certain they will find a cure for her cousin. And so we are doing this walk to raise money to make her and all our dreams come true. Please help me help all who suffer with this extremely difficult disease and give whatever you can... little or great. All help is good help. Thank you.
Canadians have one of the highest rates of MS in the world, and on average, 11 Canadians are diagnosed with this unpredictable illness every day. We don’t know what causes MS, and we don’t have a cure. Yet.
I am participating in MS Walk because I want to support the world’s leading researchers discover the cause, treatments and cure for MS. Leading-edge research and support programs have improved the quality of life for people affected by MS.
When you make a donation to my fundraising, you are helping continue this incredible work.
Thank you for supporting our MS Walk community. We wouldn’t be where we are today without your support.
