Why we’re walking to end MS
Canada has one of the highest rate of MS in the world. Every day three more Canadians are diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, an unpredictable illness that affects vision, balance, memory and mobility. Did you know 75% of Canadians living with MS are women--why? We don’t know why women are affected more than men or what causes MS but we do know there is no cure.
Your support means Canadian families who are affected by this disease do not have to face MS alone. Your funding also supports MS programs and MS research so that we can determine the "whys" of MS.
Join us in the fight to end MS
Become a member of our team and let's tackle this challenge together knowing that you are helping to end Canada’s disease. This year the MS Society will have one Virtual MS Walk: “On Sunday, May 30, 2021, one community made up of tens of thousands of Canadians will walk together to show that no person living with multiple sclerosis is alone” (more info. to follow). Team Jenna will support this virtual walk.
Please donate to our MS Walk team to help us reach our $10,000 fundraising goal. Your funds are invested into research to find the cause and cure for the disease, while providing services to Canadians with multiple sclerosis and their families.
