Having multiple sclerosis means that one morning you may not be able to walk when you wake up. Or that you may suddenly have impaired vision. Or that your memory will fail you for no apparent reason. The symptoms of MS are many and vary for everyone. It's estimated that approximately 55,000-75,000 men and women in Canada have the disease, and every day about three more people are diagnosed.
a future without MS
I was diagnosed with MS in 1989. I currently ride a scooter when I am out in the community or use 2 canes for support at home. My mother started walking in the MS Walk in Oshawa many years ago as there was no walk in Uxbridge at that time. My wife & 4 daughters, my brother, sisters, cousins, friends and I have taken over and have been joining in the walk to help find a cure for MS for approximately 15 years.
Please come out on May 5 2019 and help raise awareness and funds to support research and find a cure!
Thanks so much!
