Carry your cause to the summit!
Climb legendary Kilimanjaro, go beyond what you ever thought you could achieve, and support the cause of people affected by multiple sclerosis: that’s the challenge we’re offering you!
In January 2020, the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada will take you to the heart of the African savannah. During this seven-day trek in Tanzania, you’ll summit the king of the African continent by the Machame Route, which offers an adventurous ascent via a rather demanding route. However, you’ll soon forget the pain of the effort because this is one of the most spectacular routes.
Throughout your adventure, you’ll walk through a variety of “playgrounds,” each one more impressive and disorienting than the last: forests, volcanic canyons and fields of giant groundsel plants permanently dominated by large glaciers.
Reaching the roof of Africa requires a real effort, but rest assured: you’ll be rewarded by the many stunning views of the mountain and its surroundings.
Are you ready to take up the challenge? Don’t forget that people with MS face challenges every day!
Do you have any questions before you officially sign up for the adventure? Don’t hesitate to contact Tessy Jean-Paul, Community Relations Coordinator.
