On August 30th I will be completing in an Ironman Triathlon to help challenge MS - the goal is to raise $2260.00 which is representative of the 260kms I have to complete in swimming, biking, and running in under 17 hours on the day of my race. I have an amazing community of family and friends supporting me along the way - and I hope you can too by making a donation.
Ironman Complete! In 13:58:26 I officially completed my first ever Ironman. It took a whole community of friends and supporters, and I could not be more thankful and more grateful for all the help. It was truly an amazing experience. Thank you everyone for your generous donations and for smashing our fundraising goal!
Canada has the highest rate of MS in the world.
It’s true – 100 000 Canadians live with MS. Having multiple sclerosis means that one morning you may not be able to walk when you wake up. Or that you may suddenly have impaired vision. Or that your memory will fail you for no apparent reason. The symptoms of MS are many and vary for everyone.
I’m taking the challenge to help the MS Society fund research, advocate for change, and help people with MS and their families. Proceeds from my campaign and others like it provide support and services to help those living with this disease, their families and caregivers. They also fund research with three primary goals: to find a cause and cure for MS, repair nervous system damage caused by MS and stop MS attacks. By supporting me, you too can make a difference in the life of someone with multiple sclerosis.
I am doing whatever it takes in the fight to end MS. Will you join me?
