I am once again participating in the Myeloma March as the past years have beena success successful!
Just a few decades ago, diagnosis of Myeloma usually meant patients had limited survivability. Through research funded by donations and grants) we have seen patient survival increase and hopefully we can soon turn this incurable disease into a manageable disease!
It is my belief that when I was diagnosed in 2017 that without treatment, I may not be here today! The centre where I received my Stem Cell Transplant was created through fundraising events and donations from locals. So your support matters!
Another factor for my recovery was daily walking during my treatments. Of course, life gets busy and my daily walking has suffered, so I'm going to start up through this event and get back to living well despite this darn cancer!
Watch my progress!
Please help by donating to my Myeloma March for this September.
I'm at 10km km of 10km km.
