Dear Friends and Family - WALK WAS A SUCCESS!

Well, it's that time of year again for the 5 KM Multiple Myeloma March. Your donation helps fund clinical research and to support advocacy for accelerated access to game-changing therapies for Canadian myeloma patients. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Myeloma Canada won't be hosting their traditional group March this year, but the March will go on! Instead of one large March Team Tony's Troops will be hosting our own 5 KM march at Spanish Banks in Vancouver, Jericho Beach. Social distancing will be observed and we ask that all particapants wear a mask.

I am proof that the clinical research and drug trials do work as it has been 11 1/2 since I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma and doing well!! I did have a relapse in September 2019 and was hospitalized for a month until Dr. Song decided to put me on a new drug therapy of DARZALEX® SC (daratumumab), dexamethazone, and Ninlarno. I have had good results with this treatment, good enough to join the March this year.

Once again I dedicate my walk to the dear friends I have lost to this cancer, in particular my dear friend Doug! Taken from us far too early.

So if you can't join us at the walk please make a donation today and help me to reach my fundraising goal!

Well we did it. We were a small group but mighty!!! The rain held up and it was nice walking weather. All participants made the 5 KM walk without a hitch.

Go Tony's Troops - Soldier On, Thank You for being there and your support!

Sincerely,

Tony Malley
