Thank you for making a 2013 Starr Ranch Birdathon pledge. You can fulfill your gift (or make a new gift on this page).
We had a fantastic day this year, hearing or seeing 174 (yes, after review, 174 species, beyond our original count of 171!) -- a new record for Starr.
Highlights of the day included the Solitary Sandpiper (left, by Len Blumin), the quest to guess the 100th bird (in this case the 102nd bird, the Western Tanager, middle, by Phillip Cowan) and the most uncommon bird, the Townsend's Solitaire (right, photo by Mouser Nerdbot).
Your Birdathon gift enables us to share Starr Ranch wildlife
with the world through our web cams and blog. Your tax-deductible gift will help sustain our innovative approaches to land management and environmental education at this 4,000-acre
Audubon Sanctuary here in Orange County, California.
is truly no place like Starr Ranch. Thank you for
supporting our mission of environmental education and conservation research. We hope you can make it out to next year's Birdathon if you didn't attend this year.
You may also mail your gift to us directly at Starr Ranch Sanctuary, 100 Bell Canyon Road, Trabuco Canyon, CA 92679.
