Feeding families affected by disasters.
Severe thunderstorms and tornadoes on November 17 have devastated parts of northern Illinois. Families have lost power, had homes damaged by wind, falling trees, or flooding, and some have lost homes altogether.
Northern Illinois Food Bank is sending truckloads of food, water and supplies to pantries in Grundy County serving these affected areas. We are also offering assistance to Peoria Area Food Bank which serves the Washington, IL area also hit by tornados. We anticipate an immediate need for food and ongoing support as families rebuild.
To make a tax-deductible donation to help our neighbors affected by the recent storms, please fill out and submit the form below.
You may also donate by sending a check made out to Northern Illinois Food Bank to 273 Dearborn Court, Geneva, IL 60134 or call (630) 443-6910. To donate via phone, text "FOOD" to 52000 to make a $10 donation on your phone bill.*
