Your story is especially important this year!

Minnesota is facing a $6.2 billion deficit in this biennium (2012-2013), and a projected deficit of $5 billion in the 2014-2015 biennium. This means legislators will likely be cutting programs and funding for important services that affect people living with MS and other disabilities.

One of the most important and powerful things you can do is share your story about living with MS. Your legislator needs to know more about the disease and how it affects people in his or her district. Your story could be the one your legislator remembers when he or she is voting on important budget legislation.

This year more than one-third of the Minnesota legislature is new. This is an excellent opportunity to introduce yourself and raise awareness about MS and how the MS Society helps Minnesotans.
