Join the Movement
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is leading the fight to protect the rights of people living with MS. We use advocacy as a tool for filling in the gap between how accessible the world currently is for people with disabilities, and how accessible it ought to be.
We encourage you to join us and raise your voice to demand consideration on behalf of the MS community. Help us safeguard fair medical coverage and funding for research, protect disability rights and ensure that all public spaces are accessible no matter what your physical limitations are.
By working with policymakers, encouraging people to communicate with lawmakers, and nurturing respect for people who must confront MS, we can make a difference.
Register as a member of our Action Network and join the Greater North Jersey Chapter’s federal, state and local efforts. You will receive e-mail updates on important advocacy issues and suggestions for how you can help make a difference.
The Chapter is currently expanding the advocacy network and investing resources to increase our effectiveness throughout the state. If you are interested in volunteering your time and talents in this effort, contact Stephanie Hunsinger to learn more, or call 1.800.FIGHT MS.
