2. When will I receive the Travel Information?
You can find the Travel Information webpage in your Participant Center, under the Prepare menu at the top of the screen. Information about ceremony locations and a hotel reservation link will be posted in May. Additional details about ceremony times, driving directions and parking will be added to that webpage approximately 6-8 weeks prior to the Susan G. Komen 3-Day®.
3. How long do I have to make my travel arrangements?
Due to limited availability, please make your travel arrangements as soon as possible. All hotel room packages must be booked 2 weeks prior to the Monday before the Komen 3-Day, and are available on a first come, first served basis. Hotel rooms and the associated promotional rate are subject to availability of the room block.
4. What is a Host Hotel?
A hotel where we’ve negotiated room blocks for 3-Day® participants the nights before, during and immediately after the event. Host hotel rooms and shuttle service are sold by the hotel as a package.

Participants are responsible for their own transportation to the Host Hotel on Thursday.
6. How do I book a room?

7. I am a crew member. Is there a specific hotel that I need to stay in?
Yes. Not all Thursday night hotels will have early morning shuttle services for crew members. There will be host hotel/s designated for crew members, which will include a crew shuttle, so please make a note of it on the hotel reservation website. Crew members may not stay in a hotel on Friday or Saturday night, as they are required to stay in camp.

For details and reservations, visit your 3-Day event’s Travel Info page and click the link in the hotel section to go to the 3-Day hotel reservation website. 9. What are my shuttle options?
Friday Shuttle - If you book a room for Thursday night through the 3-Day hotel reservation website, you will receive free shuttle transportation for all hotel room occupants (4 participants per room maximum) from the hotel to the Opening Ceremony on Friday morning. You will not receive shuttle service if your room is booked separately from the 3-Day hotel reservation website. Shuttle buses cannot accommodate bicycles.
Camp Shuttle - Friday and Saturday night hotel reservations booked through the 3-Day hotel reservation website include shuttle transportation for all hotel room occupants (4 participants per room maximum) to and from camp. Camp/Hotel transportation shuttles are expected to run approximately every 30 minutes between camp and the hotel between 2:00 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. on Friday and Saturday afternoon. Please allow for extra time during peak camp operational hours from 4:00 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. Plan to arrive at the bus loading area 15 minutes prior to departure during these hours. Hotel transportation shuttles will be operating on a continuous loop between the hotel and camp on Saturday and Sunday mornings (opening time will vary by location) ending 60 minutes prior to camp closure time each morning. For example: If camp closes at 8:00 a.m. and all participants need to be on the route by this time, the last bus will depart the host hotel at 7:00 a.m. You will not receive shuttle service if your room is booked separately from the 3-Day hotel reservation website. Shuttle buses cannot accommodate bicycles.
Sunday Shuttle - Sunday night hotel reservations do not include shuttle service from the Closing Ceremony to the hotel on Sunday evening, unless you are using a SuperFundraiser Travel Ticket. A SuperFundraiser who is utilizing their free hotel stay on Sunday evening will receive one shuttle ticket as part of their Sunday night hotel stay. Anyone who is not using a SuperFundraiser Travel Ticket, including those who plan on staying in a hotel room with a SuperFundraiser, can purchase a shuttle pass for $20 from the Sunday Shuttle Tent at camp on Friday night from 2:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Shuttle departs 30 minutes after completion of the Closing Ceremony. Everyone taking a Sunday shuttle will need to pick up a shuttle pass from the Sunday Shuttle Tent at camp on Friday night, 2:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Shuttle buses cannot accommodate bicycles.
10. How do I purchase my shuttle tickets?
If you book a room for Thursday night through our travel agent’s reservation website, you will receive free shuttle transportation for all hotel room occupants (4 participants per room maximum) from the hotel to the Opening Ceremony on Friday morning. You will not receive shuttle service if your room is booked separately from the 3-Day hotel reservation website. A portion of the hotel room rate is used for the operational costs of the shuttle service.
Friday and Saturday night hotel reservations booked through the 3-Day hotel reservation website include shuttle transportation for all hotel room occupants (4 participants per room maximum) to and from camp. You will not receive shuttle service if your room is booked separately from the 3-Day hotel reservation website. A portion of the hotel room rate is used for the operational costs of the shuttle service.
Tickets for the shuttle from the Closing Ceremony back to the host hotels can be purchased for $20 per person in the Main Street area of camp on Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. You can only purchase these shuttle passes on Friday night in camp; they will not be available for purchase on Saturday night.
11. What if I do not want the shuttle service?
Whether you utilize the shuttle service included in the hotel package is your decision, but all rooms automatically come with the shuttle transportation. There is not a reduced rate for the hotel room if you choose not to use the shuttle.
12. I am not staying at a host hotel, but at another hotel nearby can I still use the shuttle?
No. The host hotel package room rates are inclusive of your hotel sleeping room and shuttle transportation to the various 3-Day sites. Shuttle transportation to the various 3-Day sites is not available through the host hotel for those who do not book through the 3-Day hotel reservation website. We recommend that you check with your chosen hotel to determine your transportation options.
13. How will they be identifying camp host hotel shuttle users?
A registered hotel rooming list provided by the hotel will specify all persons and roommates booked under the package room rate at the host hotel. No ticket or pass is required.
14. Where will the Camp/Hotel be?
The Chicago 3-Day camp will be at the Marriott Marquis Chicago. The New England 3-Day camp will be at the Westin Boston Waterfront. The location of the Dallas/Fort Worth camp hotel will be announced at a later date.
15. How do I book a room?
For Friday and Saturday night, the 3-Day will make your hotel reservations for you. Your preferences will be collected during the online check-in process. For Thursday and/or Sunday night reservations: Click the link on your 3-Day event’s Travel Info page to go to the 3-Day hotel reservation website. This site is maintained by the 3-Day’s travel agent, and all reservations must be made through this site in order to get the 3-Day package rate with shuttle service.
16. Are Thursday & Sunday nights also included?
No. As is traditional with the 3-Day event experience, Friday & Saturday overnight stays are included. Thursday and Sunday night stays will be an optional choice and the cost is the sole responsibility of the participant.
17. Where will “camp” be? (Main Street, Medical, Food…)
One main hotel will serve as our host for camp which will include meals, main street and participant lodging. Camp will be located in the largest of the ballroom spaces at the hotel, although the layout will be unique and new, the aspects of the 3-Day camp experience that you have come to love and appreciate will still be there.
18. What if I don’t like that hotel? What if I have points/rewards at a different hotel? Will you pay for me to stay at an alternate hotel? And will there be shuttle service from other hotels?
Similar to the 3-Day camp experience of the past, we will choose one location as your 3-Day “home away from home.” If you choose to opt out of staying at that hotel you will be responsible for arranging your own alternate accommodations and transportation. If the 3-Day places you in a hotel other than the main camp hotel, shuttle service will be provided (if needed). If you reserve a hotel separate from the 3-Day block, shuttle service will not be provided.
19. If 3-Day participants are put up in multiple hotels, can I choose which hotel I am placed in? Can I choose to be in the main hotel where the camp experience will be?
While you will be able to choose your roommate, you will not be able to choose which hotel you are placed in. The sooner you complete online check-in, the more likely you will be placed in the main camp hotel, as those rooms will be assigned first.
20. If in multiple hotels, will they be close enough to walk to the main hotel or will we have shuttles?
Participants who will be sleeping in a host hotel other than the main host hotel will either be able to walk to the main hotel, as we will likely have rooms in a hotel that is walking distance, or be transported to that hotel via shuttle.
21. Can you make sure I’m in the same hotel Thursday through Sunday?
If you make a host hotel reservation for Thursday and/or Sunday evening, we cannot guarantee that all four nights will be at the same hotel or in the same hotel room. There is a possibility that you will have to move rooms between Thursday and Friday night, and/or between Saturday and Sunday night. To increase the chances of being assigned to the same hotel and room all four nights, we recommend that you and your selected roommate(s) complete online check-in as soon as it opens. Once you receive your hotel assignment for Friday and Saturday night, you can book your Thursday and Sunday room at the same hotel in the same room type. Please note that hotel room availability is first come, first served. As hotel rooms fill up at the main host hotel, we will open rooms at nearby hotels.
22. How will my Fri/Sat hotel be assigned? What do I need to do to get assigned to the hotel that I want?
Hotels will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. The earlier you complete online check-in, the more likely it is that you will be assigned to the main host hotel. Crew members will be all assigned to the same hotel, so if you are on the Crew or rooming with a crew member, that will affect your hotel assignment.
23. Will teams have adjoining hotel rooms similar to the way they have tents together at outdoor campsites?
No. While you will be able to select your roommate(s) with a room occupancy of 2 to 4 people you are unable to select who will be rooming near you.
24. Will we have to pay extra to park a vehicle at the hotel for the weekend?
Participants who wish to park at the hotel will have to pay the hotel’s parking fees. The 3-Day does not reimburse parking costs. Fees will vary by hotel.
25. If my spouse/friend would like to join me, but is not participating in the 3-Day, can I share a room with him/ her?
No. Hotel rooms are assigned to 3-Day participants only, with a room occupancy of 2 to 4 people.
