The Susan G. Komen 3-Day® is a community of people who want to go above and beyond, to make a bold impact and be More Than Pink™. The minute you sign up, you’re part of that family. Your personal Komen 3-Day coach will mentor you throughout your journey. Our online resources, apps, workshops and outfitters help you all along the way and connect you with other 3-Day® walkers in your community—both new and experienced. On the event, you’re in good hands with our volunteer crew.
Team up with your friends and family to support each other and make an even bigger impact. Walking with a team makes the miles go by faster. Tell stories, sing and dance, and have someone by your side when you need the encouragement to go those last few miles.
It begins with an emotional Opening Ceremony, where we honor the loved ones who have inspired us to walk. Surrounded by a close-knit community, you’ll fill your heart with the 3-Day spirit.
There’s a 60-mile walk ahead of you, but our training walks will get you ready, and on the event, we’ll pick you up if you need a ride. Every mile is fully supported with pit stops, safety crew, and mile after mile of cheering spectators.
The 3-Day transforms into a 60-mile moving monument dedicated to the power of ending breast cancer forever. With every step, we pay tribute. We wear the memories of our loved ones on our shirts, in our hands, in our hearts.
You may have begun your journey walking for a loved one, but after two days and nights of fellowship and friendship, you’re also walking for yourself. You’re accomplishing something incredible—embrace it!
For two nights, you’ll camp with the 3-Day community, just like summer camp for grown-ups. We’ll provide the pink tents—you make them home. We’ll pamper you with massage chairs, hot showers and comforting meals. Stay in a hotel if you want to, but then you’ll miss the sleepover!
We all walk in together, because it’s not a race. This victory belongs to all of us. We’ll finish 60 miles on tired legs but we won’t be defeated. Our final destination—a hero’s welcome from friends and family at our celebratory Closing Ceremony.
