Training Checklist

  • Create a training schedule: First consider your current condition, consult with your doctor, and see the Suggested Training Schedule as a guideline. If you can’t fit the entire walking schedule into your week, try to do as much as you can. The important thing is to increase your mileage safely. Walking approximately 60 miles over three days requires preparation.
  • Add the 3-Day Training app. Then read our mobile app how-to guide. You will need to download the latest version of the app each year to see updated event dates, though you only need to purchase the app once.
  • Find a training walk.
  • Review our Training Topics, including stretching guidelines.
  • Contact your coach for training advice and motivation.
