ONTARIO SPCA

Calendar Donation Form Banner

Jersey is a four-year-old Brussels Griffon type terrier who came to the Ontario SPCA Sudbury & District Branch a year ago, a neglected, broken and terrified little soul, with severely swollen and infected eyes.

To save his life, his eyes needed to be removed. One day this adorable dog was a sighted animal - the next he was blind.

Through patience and the help of another blind dog, Milo, Jersey learned how to function without sight. Now, nearly a year later, Jersey is happy and healthy living with his new owner, Stacey, and her other dog, Holden.

Jersey graces the cover of our 2014 Great Rescues Calendar, and is joined throughout its pages by many other wonderful animals whose amazing stories were made possible by caring donors like you. There are remarkable stories of hope and healing, like Bonnie, a Pomeranian, rescued from a hoarding situation; Mack and Skippy, two loving tabby cats who were left at home unattended while their owner went away; and Walter, a Weimaraner - and enthusiastic blogger - rescued from a puppy mill. All of the animals are now living, happy healthy lives thanks to YOU.

On behalf of the animals, thank you.
