Piedmont COVID-19 Infrastructure Fund
In response to the pandemic, The Piedmont Healthcare COVID-19 Infrastructure Fund has been established to enhance and accelerate the work that is already being done to take care of our community.
Your donation will make an immediate impact by supporting our growing capital and operating needs across the Piedmont Healthcare system. A gift to this fund immediately goes towards the below areas of critical need:
- Drive-Thru Testing Sites
- Reconfiguring Labs for On-Site COVID-19 Testing
- Hospital Modifications to increase ICU capacity
- Equipment, Technology and Operating Costs (including ventilator purchases, PPE, and all associated support)
It is a time of uncertainty and anxiousness. We are in this together. You can help impact Piedmont Healthcare’s response to COVID-19 by donating today.
We are all thankful for Piedmont’s incredible staff and it is imperative at this crucial time we stand behind them in this fight. Their ability to perform their jobs, and even maintain their morale, deserves our assistance. The Piedmont Healthcare Foundation Board held a peer-to-peer fundraising campaign and raised over $150,000 to support new childcare options for Piedmont employees who are impacted by school and daycare closures. Our staff must continue to work for the sake of the community’s health, and we must do everything possible to make sure their children have an option to be cared for in a safe place.
As a result, six schools systemwide have already been set up under the direction of Piedmont’s Human Resources and Infection Prevention Teams. We have nearly 200 students enrolled each day across the system.
