Hi everyone!

My name is Charlotte and I am a fourth-year Health Promotion student at UGA and an intern at the Loran Smith Center for Cancer Support at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital. It has been so much fun helping plan the In Their Shoes 10K Run/Walk this spring. This fundraiser is such a special event to honor cancer survivors and raise money to provide incredible services to cancer patients and families. It is mission of the Loran Smith Center to not just treat the cancer but the whole person. They offer a range of services including individual, group, and family counseling, support groups, exercise classes, nutrition workshops, expressive art classes, oncology massage, Healing Touch, and Reiki therapy.
