Be Part of the Miracle
Please call us at 706-667-0030 if you have any questions about how to collect and turn in offline donations.
In light of Hurricane Helene's impact on our region, and in consideration of the extended strain on our first responders, community members and hospital as they begin to recover from this catastrophic event, Piedmont Augusta Foundation has made the decision to cancel the in-person portion of the Miracle Mile Walk, scheduled for Oct. 19, 2024.
- Donation Dropoff and T-shirt pickup on Oct. 17 from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. at Piedmont Summerville will continue as planned.
- Raffle tickets will still be available for online purchase until Oct. 20 at 11:59 p.m., with the drawing to occur and winners announced on social media on Oct. 21.
- Miracle Mile Walk T-shirts and other merchandise remain available for sale at Piedmont Augusta, Piedmont Summerville and Piedmont McDuffie campuses until sold out.
While individuals and teams are welcome to continue to raise funds for the 2024 Miracle Mile Walk depending on their capacity, Piedmont Augusta recognizes the financial impact facing so many in this community.
Piedmont Augusta Foundation expresses its gratitude to all the sponsors of and donors to the Miracle Mile Walk. We salute our survivors, honor those we have lost and look forward to working with our community to rebuild after the storm.
The Miracle Mile Walk supports Piedmont Augusta's Randy W. Cooper, M.D., Center for Breast Health Services and mobile mammography unit, providing lifesaving screenings to women in our community regardless of their ability to pay. Piedmont Augusta Foundation and the patients we serve are grateful for your partnership. Even if we can't all be together for the walk this year, you can help fight breast cancer in these ways: sponsor, form a team or donate today!
