Playing for Parkinson's at Spring Island
|
The Parkinson's Foundation is proud to present Playing for Parkinson’s at Spring Island, a premier golfing event which brings together local individuals and businesses to join in the fight against Parkinson’s disease. Together, as a community, participants enjoy a day of golf, fellowship and education on how to support the Parkinson’s Foundation’s mission to make life better for people living with Parkinson’s. This is a two-day event starting on Sunday, September 24, 2023 with a reception and silent auction at the River House on Spring Island. On Monday, September 25, 2023 eighteen teams will play at Old Tabby Links which is a members only golf course. Known as one of Arnold Palmer’s top 2 designs, Old Tabby Links at Spring Island is fully immersed in the landscape. With no homes visible from the course, golfers are in their element throughout the game. On September 25 our goal is for each team to play in a casual atmosphere and a no rush attitude; golf at Old Tabby Links is truly a leisure pursuit for anyone who loves to play! Proceeds from Playing for Parkinson’s will support education, resources and programs for people living with Parkinson’s in the Lowcountry Region and beyond.
