What is the Moving Day® Fundraising Rewards Program?

Do I need to enroll?

Just individually raise $500 or more, for a Moving Day® event, and you will be automatically enrolled in our rewards program.


When and how do I order my incentive prize?

5-6 weeks incentive banner3.fw.pngAfter the Moving Day® event you registered for has taken place, you will have an additional 30 days to get your donations in to the relevant chapter to qualify for a prize incentive. Once the post event 30 days has lapsed, your final fundraising total received by the chapter will be calculated to determine your prize incentive level achieved. If you have qualified for an incentive prize, a certificate will then be emailed to you 1-2 weeks after the post event 30 day fundraising cut off (5-6 weeks total). You then have 30 days to redeem your prize incentive at the level you qualified for or any prize under that level.

 

Once redeemed and approved for shipment, most orders ship within 2 to 6 weeks.

What if I don't want a prize?

If you qualify for a reward but do not wish to claim a prize you don't have to do anything! Although you will receive a certificate, which is redeemable for 30 days, you can simply choose to ignore it. 100% of your fundraising will then go back to the National Parkinson Foundation to help the PD Community by funding life changing research, promoting education, raising awareness, and enhancing care through the PD Help Line, Aware in Care Kits, and the Parkinson's Disease Toolkit.

By taking part in Moving Day® you become part of a nationwide movement to beat Parkinson’s disease. As many as 1 million Americans have Parkinson’s disease with 50,000 new cases diagnosed each year. The money you raise through Moving Day® will help improve the lives of every person with Parkinson’s by supporting NPF’s vital mission including:

 

• Parkinson’s disease education and outreach through public awareness campaigns on early warning signs and treatment, as well as free patient resources for patients and their families.

• Cutting-edge research aimed at better treatment and care for people with Parkinson’s.

• Advancement of clinical care through healthcare professional training and other initiatives like our Aware in Care campaign and the Parkinson’s Disease Toolkit.

• Raising awareness about the prevalence of Parkinson’s and the need for our government, the public and communities to stand up and take action.
