I'm running / walking / trodding 26.2 miles again on Sunday, November 3rd, to support J. Arnold Witte and help raise money as well as awareness for the Parkinson's Foundation.
Mr. Witte has been living with Parkinson's Disease, and it continues to impact him physically as well as mentally and emotionally. Still, he is - for most of us - the man who gave us an opportunity to provide for ourselves and our families by giving us a job. Throughout the years we have paid our bills, taken vacations, and even followed our dreams by giving a good day's work for a good day's pay.
There is a small way to let him know he is supported in this time of personal adversity by donating to this year's fundraiser.
The Parkinson's Foundation improves life for people living with Parkinson's disease by providing care and advancing research toward a cure. Studies show that 2.5 hours of weekly exercise along with medication can significantly improve the quality of life for people living with Parkinson's.
You can pledge your support by clicking the link. Just like every step counts to finishing a marathon, every donation - every dollar - counts in finding a cure. Thanks.
