I'm ready to run. Again.
It's another year, and another marathon. This time in NYC. Thank you to everyone that donated to Parkinson's Foundation for my run of the Chicago Marathon 2023. With your love and support, I was able to set a new personal record at the Chicago Marathon and achieved a Boston Marathon qualifying time with a time of 3:33:29. I want to continue to take the support of Parkinson's Foundation to another World Major Marathon.
I'm running to raise funds and awareness with the Parkinson's Champions. I'm challenging myself to run the marathon to support the Parkinson’s Foundation. As you know, this support is important to my family, as my dad was diagnosed with PD in 2017. There is still so much unknown about PD, so this money goes towards a great cause of research and helping the lives of many people and families living with PD.
The Parkinson's Foundation makes life better for people living with Parkinson's disease by improving care and advancing research toward a cure. Studies show that 2.5 hours of weekly exercise along with medication, can significantly improve quality of life for people living with Parkinson's. We run and will continue to run for people with Parkinson's because this disease not a sprint, it’s a marathon. Every dollar counts, thank you for your support!
