I'm running the NYC Marathon with the Parkinson's Champions team to raise funds and awareness for a cause that is incredibly close to my heart. 11 years ago my dad was diagnosed with PD. Despite the challenges he faces, he never complains and always makes the most of everything. He's truly the best and the strongest guy I know!
Running this marathon is my way of supporting him and everyone affected by Parkinson's. The Parkinson's Foundation works tirelessly to improve the lives of those living with the disease by enhancing care and advancing research towards a cure. Studies have shown that just 2.5 hours of exercise per week, combined with medication, can significantly improve the quality of life for people with Parkinson's.
This journey is not a sprint—it's a marathon. Every step I take and every dollar raised brings us closer to a cure. Your support means the world to me and to all those affected by Parkinson's. Thank you for joining me in this fight.
Dad, I hope you enjoy watching me suffer on your behalf. Next drink is on you!
