I am thrilled to announce that I am running the Chicago Marathon on October 13, 2024, raising funds for The Parkinson's Foundation! Running this race has always been a dream of mine. I couldn't be more grateful to support and bring awareness to Parkinson's, and share how an organization like this can provide improved care and advance research towards a cure. This race will be even more special to me because my grandmother, Loretta LaCamera, battled this disease for fifteen years and I watched firsthand how relentless Parkinson's can be. Since her passing on May 31, 2023, I knew it was important to me to honor her memory somehow. Her fortitude, humility, and character will forever guide my life and I miss her every single day.I will run in memory of my Grandma, other loved ones, and all who struggle with Parkinson's because this disease is not a sprint, it's a marathon.Thank you in advance for your support!
