I'm ready to run.
I am passionate about raising funds for the Parkinson's Foundation to enhance the quality of life for individuals battling this disease. This cause holds profound personal significance as it is closely tied to my mother's remarkable resilience and bravery in confronting Parkinson's. Her courage has motivated me to commit to running the Philadelphia Marathon this autumn as a member of the Parkinson's Champions team, dedicated to supporting the Parkinson's Foundation. Each dollar we raise signifies hope and represents a collaborative endeavor to bring about positive change for those impacted by Parkinson's, including my mom, whose unwavering determination and grace continue to inspire us all in overcoming challenges.
The Parkinson's Foundation focuses on improving care and advancing research toward a cure. Studies have shown that 2.5 hours of weekly exercise, along with medication, can significantly improve the quality of life for people living with Parkinson's. We run, and will continue to run, for the people with Parkinson's because this disease is not a sprint, it's a marathon. Every dollar counts. Thank you for your support!
