This past February, my family lost our beloved Mommom, Anne, who bravely battled Parkinson's Disease for many years. She was not only a pillar of strength but a beacon of love and light to all who knew her. I will forever miss walking on the beach hearing a stranger yell out "Hey Penn Queen" to her like she was a celebrity. There has not been a day that goes by where I do not think about her and know that somehow she is by my side.
This November, I will be running in The Philadelphia Marathon Weekend's both 8k and Full Marathon Race (31.17 miles total) to honor my Mommom, Anne. This endeavor is not just a physical challenge but a heartfelt tribute to a woman who touched the lives around her so deeply.
The funds raised will directly benefit The Parkinson's Foundation, a leader in Parkinson's research. Your contribution will help fund critical research initiatives aimed at finding better treatments and ultimately a cure for Parkinson's Disease. My goal is to raise $500 by November 23, 2024.
Thank you for your support during this time of remembrance and action. Together, let's continue Anne's legacy of strength and compassion.
I love you Forever Mommom
