I’m so excited to be running my first marathon, the 2024 New York City Marathon, with the Parkinson’s Champions! My grandfather has been living with Parkinson’s for the past 10 years and I will be running the race in his honor. As a medical student going into neurology, I am also running this race for all Parkinson’s patients and their loved ones.
My personal records:
5K: 19:35.6 (1st place female finisher overall)
10K: 43:22.84 (1st place female finisher overall)
Half-Marathon: 1:42:49.2 (1st place female ages 18-24)

I'm running to raise funds and awareness with the Parkinson's Champions. I'm challenging myself to run the marathon to support the Parkinson’s Foundation.
The Parkinson's Foundation makes life better for people living with Parkinson's disease by improving care and advancing research toward a cure. Studies show that 2.5 hours of weekly exercise along with medication, can significantly improve quality of life for people living with Parkinson's. We run and will continue to run for people with Parkinson's because this disease not a sprint, it’s a marathon. Every dollar counts, thank you for your support!
