I'm embarking on a journey to raise funds and awareness for the Parkinson's Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Parkinson's disease. Their mission is to enhance care and support for individuals living with Parkinson's and to drive research toward finding a cure. Last year, the Parkinson's Foundation received over $6 million in global support. More than half of the funds raised in 2023 were allocated to research grants aimed at finding a cure and provided vital treatment to over 200,000 Parkinson's patients through their Global Care Network.

On a personal note, I lost a family member last year who battled Parkinson's for 18 years. For my first marathon, I wanted to take on the challenge to raise money in her honor and support this important cause.
