If you know me, you know my pops. Maybe not in person but definitely by name. Pops loves cars, tinkering in the garage, and choosing the exact moment dinner is ready to disappear. Pops taught me to drive, spent hours untangling my necklaces, and always makes the pizza.
Pops has Parkinson's and was struggling for months. Eventually a wonderful doctor was able to prescribe a simple pill that replaces the levels of dopamine has drastically changed his quality of life, and my nanas too. I am running with the Parkinson's Champions to help raise money for the Parkinson's Foundation.
The Parkinson's Foundation makes life better for people living with Parkinson's disease by improving care, supporting those struggling with the disease and their caregivers as well as advancing research toward a cure.
We run and will continue to run for people with Parkinson's because this disease not a sprint, it’s a marathon. Every dollar counts, thank you for your support!
