I'm ready to run.
In 2018, at the age of 77 my dad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
My dad has always loved the outdoors…fishing, hunting, and taking care of migratory Blue Martins, are just a few of his favorite outdoor activities.
With his diagnosis, these activities have become more and more challenging. With that said, witnessing his strength and his fight in the face of adversity provides inspiration every single day.
In honor of my dad, I’m challenging myself to run the Big Sur Marathon as part of the Parkinson’s Champions Team with a goal of raising $3,500 for the Parkinson’s Foundation. Their mission is simple - to improve care and advance research towards a cure.
To make this happen, the Parkinson’s Foundation relies on donations to support their research, to provide support programs, and to raise awareness about this disease.
Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference in the lives of the individuals and families affected by Parkinson’s.
Thank you for your generosity, your encouragement, and your support...I cannot thank you enough!
With Gratitude,
~Tim
