Hotels: Where is the best place to stay on race weekend? The answer depends on your priorities. Many people choose to find a spot near the Staten Island Ferry for easy transportation to the start line, while others prefer a spot near Midtown and Central Park so they can reduce the distance from the finish line to their hotel. Both of those locations will tend to be more expensive, so for those looking for a great deal, you may want to look farther north into Harlem, or east toward Brooklyn or Queens.

NYRR does offer some special deals here, though these are definitely not the only options, and you may have luck on Airbnb or searching out deals yourself.
