Moving Day Community Walk is coming to Punta Gorda, FL! You don't want to miss this! Our community is getting together to help raise awareness and funds for the Parkinson's Foundation. This is your chance to speak up about Parkinson's and take action. Your support will help the Parkinson's Foundation advance research, provide educational resources, and fund programs that make life better for people living with Parkinson's disease. My name is Jaxson Moenning and I am a freshman at Charlotte High School. I wanted to do an event to bring awareness to Parkinson’s disease. My grandfather and uncle have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s so it is very dear to me and my family and I wanted to show my support. To keep moving is extremely important for not only people with Parkinson’s, but for everyone. I want to personally invite everyone of all ages to come out and walk with me. This is a perfect opportunity for my peers to be involved in the community through sponsorship, donations, or just showing up to participate! See you all on walk day!
