Welcome to My Personal Page
I am participating in Moving Day Milwaukee, benefiting the Parkinson's Foundation.
Why Moving Day?
Did you know that someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease every 9 minutes in the United States? No one should have to face Parkinson’s alone. That is why the Parkinson's Foundation provides a community of support to give people the resources and help they need to live well with Parkinson’s.
My Mom, Marge Dlapa, passed away from Parkinson's in 2012 and my Aunt, Roseann Peskie, is now battling Parkinson's. I know first hand how this disease affects a person and their loved ones. I have made it my mission to not only spread Parkinson's Awareness (which is the month of April, with World Parkinson's Disease Day April 11th) but to also support the foundation by participating in Moving Day Milwaukee, collecting donations and hosting fundraisers with my sister, Stephanie, to benefit the organization. Team T.R.A.P. Pack has collected over $11,000.00 since the walk began in Milwaukee in 2017. Our fundraisers, "Painting for Parkinson's" and "Pouring for Parkinson's" have been not only successful but tons of fun!! All of this is possible because of good hearted, generous people like you!
Please, support our mission to help every person diagnosed with Parkinson's live their best possible life now. Your gift will help us fund better research, better treatment and better lives.
Anything you can do; spread awareness, make a donation or participate in our events is so appreciated and will also benefit so many other people and their families. Thanks in advance for not only your donation or participation, but for taking the time to visit my page. Together we can make a difference!!!
With appreciation ~ Christeen
