Parkinson Beaters Movement Believers

Welcome to our Moving Day Team Page!

PB & MB 2022’
It is hard to believe. Our last real Moving Day was almost three years ago. 2019. Pre-pandemic. Pre-storming the capital. Pre-George Floyd. Pre-invasion. Looking back, the problems seem smaller, more easily solved, less chance that one wrong move will bring the whole delicate construct crashing down. It always seems that way… Looking back…
It is easy to get caught in the nostalgia trap. I enjoy looking back as much as most. But I like to think looking back might enable one to find some nugget of wisdom that will, or at least could, make the future brighter.
We have all discovered we can survive in very small groups. Modern technology enables us to do both business and socializing via video screen. The stuff we need or want can be ordered on-line and delivered to our doorstep. But, we are the poorer for it.
Moving Day by car, 2021 was nothing like Moving Day together, 2019. A real celebration demands a real assemblage. So, get the gang together. Let’s celebrate Moving Day 2022 like we mean it.

Donations Sincerely Appreciated

In the United States, 50,000-60,000 new cases of Parkinson’s disease (PD) are diagnosed each year, adding to the one million people who currently have PD.

Join our team for the local Parkinson’s Foundation Moving Day walk, the first nationwide grassroots campaign that spotlights the disease on a national level and gives the chance to raise awareness and funds in our own community. Your support will help us continue improving the quality of care for those living with Parkinson’s disease.

To donate or visit a team members personal page please select from the ‘Team Roster’ list at the bottom of the page.

Thank you for supporting us and the vital work of the Parkinson’s Foundation.
