The reason I walk
Several years ago my husband( Pops' aka Easa aka Chris Sr.) was told he had PD. It was a blow to us all. Over the years, with mediciations and exercise he had managed to keep doing what he loved. Travel, photography, walking, just living his best life with some limitations. Then COVID happened and with it came added stress and isolation. Although we tried to stay actived and involved through Zoom and other methods, it just wasn't the same. His PD got worse and he wasn't alone. This disease is a slippery, sly one, it starts taking more away from you sometimes without you realizing it, although those around you see the changes.
Today he has good days, some better days, and some days that suck. We try and make the most of every hour, every day, and we keep it as full of humor as possible, but sometimes it just isn't possible.
The PDF has given us some great information through webinars, papers, videos, coupled with support and understanding that he/we aren't alone in the journey. Although each person with PD is unique, there is a common thread that ties each one together.
Please join Pops' Posse by joining the team and then getting friends, family and co-workers to support you. Any dollar amount is greatly appreciated. If you can't join the team support one of the team members.
