Welcome to My Personal Page!

For many years, I watched Mom decline from the adverse affects of Parkinson's disease, and I watched Dad take care of her as her primary caregiver. Parkinson's takes and takes and takes until it has taken everything from the person suffering from it and their caregivers. Because of the fundraising I did in the past, in 2021, I was asked to join the advisory board of the Parkinson's Foundation of the Carolinas. I jumped on the chance so that I could work to help those suffering from Parkinson's and their caregivers. Someday, we will beat this miserable disease, but we need your help to do that. It takes money for research, but the wonderful thing about The Parkinson's Foundation is that most of our philanthropy is to provide information and resources to those affected by Parkinson's. We provide educational materials, symposiums, presentations to anyone that asks and grants to those supporting programs for patients.
April is National Parkinson's Awareness Month. Did you know that someone is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease every 6 minutes in the United States? We actually believe this number is low by about 50%. No one should have to face Parkinson's alone. That is why the Parkinson's Foundation provides a community of support to give people the resources and help they need to live well with Parkinson's.
I'm asking again for your support today! Your gift will support the Parkinson's Foundation mission to improve care and advance research toward a cure.
Thank you for joining the fight against Parkinson's! I truly appreciate your support!
Jenny
