Welcome to our Moving Day Team Page!

In the United States, nearly 90,000 people are diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease (PD) every year, adding to the one million people who currently have PD.

Moving Day Rochester is almost upon us and it’s time to get moving! This event, which takes place on Sunday October 1st at 9am at Innovative Field, also takes place in many cities across the country. The goal of the walk is to raise awareness, honor those with Parkinson’s disease, celebrate movement, and support the work of the Parkinson’s Foundation. With your generous donations, the Foundation is able to provide resources, support, treatments, and research towards a cure. Over the last few years, your generous donations have helped our team, Rock Steady Boxing Flower City, become one of the top fundraisers. We invite you to join us again this year on Moving Day and help us to to raise awareness and funds in our own community. Your support will help us continue improving the quality of care for those living with Parkinson’s disease.
