Welcome to My Personal Page
Hello to All!
I'm so happy to be writing to you about this year's Cleveland Moving Day for Parkinson's. Because this year you'll have a chance to attend in person! Although it's a hybrid event where you can stay in/near your car and participate in some cool activities, you'll also have the option of purchasing a discounted ticket to the zoo that day and "move" thoughout the zoo,
I really hope you can join our team "Perdan's Movers" and come out to the Zoo on Saturday, June 27. It starts at the Bear Lot at 11:00am. Or if that isn't for you, please still consider joining our team and/or making a donation. Thanks!
As most of you know my husband Bill was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2009, and his father, who has since passed on, was also diagnosed several years after Bill. I also have two other family members with Parkinson's as well, so doing everything I can to help those with Parkinson's is very important to me. And Moving Day is a great way to raise not only needed funds but awareness about this disease.
Thank you for all the love and support you've given to us and continue to give. We couldn't do it without you!
Why Move for Moving Day?
Did you know that someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease every 9 minutes in the United States? No one should have to face Parkinson’s alone. That is why the Parkinson's Foundation provides a community of support to give people the resources and help they need to live well with Parkinson’s.
Support our mission to help every person diagnosed with Parkinson's live their best possible life now. Your gift will help us fund better research, better treatment and better lives.
