Welcome to My Personal Page
I am participating in Moving Day Cleveland, benefiting the Parkinson's Foundation. It has been 7 years since I was first diagnosed with Parkinson's. I continue to exercise and walk daily to fight the battle of beating this disease. I continue to play golf, build furniture, play guitar and watch my grandkids play sports. Thanks to all of you that have supported me in this venture.
We did not do a walk last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year there is a drive thru event at the Cleveland Zoo. I have chosen instead to do a "team walk" at the Chagrin River Park in Willoughby on June 20. The details of this event will be in a seperate email sent to you soon.
The event will consist of a team photo, stretching, and walking 1 or 2 miles. Light refreshments will conclude the Moving Day Event. Hopefully this walk will celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.
Please consider being a part of my team or sponsoring me.
Thank you for helping me strive to meet my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson's Foundation.
Why Move for Moving Day?
Did you know that someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease every 9 minutes in the United States? No one should have to face Parkinson’s alone. That is why the Parkinson's Foundation provides a community of support to give people the resources and help they need to live well with Parkinson’s.
Support our mission to help every person diagnosed with Parkinson's live their best possible life now. Your gift will help us fund better research, better treatment and better lives.
