Welcome to My Personal Page
In 2015, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. I was 47 years old and knew there was a long road ahead but was determined to fight back. Shortly after my diagnosis I was introduced to Rock Steady Boxing and became a certified coach in 2017. This program gives me the opportunity to work alongside and encourage others who are battling PD. I consider myself blessed by the Lord to work with folks who have such determination to become stronger both mentally and physically.
I've joined Moving Day, A Walk for Parkinson's, to honor others like me, those who love them and those that are working to end this disease.
I can use your help in two ways. First, I would like to have 100 people to join me on Moving Day, May 4 in Winston Salem. Secondly, I have a personal goal of $2000 towards our Rock Steady Boxing Burlington group total. Every dollar I raise goes a long way in helping the Parkinson's Foundation fulfill its mission of improving the lives of the one million Americans with Parkinson's. Please support me in this fight by making a donation. Your generosity will help raise awareness, more funding and more understanding of a disease that affects so many of our family and friends.
Together, let's make a life-changing difference!
Thank you!
