I'm Anne Prine, and I hope you'll support me as I walk for Parkinson's!
This is my third year walking for Parkinson’s and donating my time and energy to this cause.
This year, participating is filled with emotion for me. I am walking in honor and memory of my late husband, Dave, who died May 16, 2021, with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson’s. Dave was a smart, creative and loving husband, with a wonderful sense of humor.
Diseases such as Lewy Body and others in the Parkinson’s spectrum are under-studied, not well understood and often mis-diagnosed.
Funds raised for Parkinson’s through events such as Moving Day fund much-needed research that will benefit not only those with Parkinson’s, but also those – like my Dave – with related diseases.
Moving Day proceeds help bring quality care to more people with Parkinson’s. Funds raised also further Parkinson’s research, education and outreach initiatives.
Please join me in supporting the Parkinson’s Foundation with your generous donation.
You can make a difference! Your gift will help us fund better research, better treatment and better lives.
